The Sanchi stupas are the backdrop of the Permanent Light & Sound show that uses 3D projection mapping technology, lasers, and amplified sound to turn the monuments into an open air 3D theater, which was designed and developed by Splat Studio, in collaboration with CS Direkt and Modern Stage Services. Inaugurated in March 2019, this 25 mins colorful and fast-paced show written by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, presents information and stories about Sanchi's history and importance and the Buddhist relics in Satdhara, Sonari, Mural-Khurd, Udayagiri, temple of Gyaraspur, Raisen Fort, and other nearby attractions. This beautiful Audio Visual delight was conceptualised and deployed with a combination of multiple technologies like high lumens projectors, 36W LED RGB Walkover Lights, LED RGB Wash Lights, LED RGB Linear Walkover Lights, LED Beam Lights, Laser Moving Heads.
